Confession! I am sure if I took the time to study up on blogging tips one of the first would be to not end a blog with the topic of your next one. Just as we cannot predict what's right around the bend of life, or which way the water will take its course, we do not know what the next inspiration will be to share!
I had no idea when I rolled out of bed this morning (almost *dismissing* my 5:45a alarm) and found my spot in the sand what all my eyes were about to see nor the joy that was about to flood my heart!
A fellow sunrise friend walked by and said he was visiting from LA and wanted a new facebook profile pic. Lol. So he asked if I would take one for him - he crouched down with a serious deep-thought gesture and after a few tries I got the perfect shot. We high-fived, been doing this alot lately!, and he went on his merry way. :)
Watching sunrises have become a new "habit" the last few weeks, I consider them a present each time!
I recently had the priviledge of getting a preview to our church's upcoming series "Days Like This" based on Romans 8. Verse 19 says ~ The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of glory to be revealed. Eric Geiger, our pastor, said "eagerly awaits" is like all of creation standing on its "tippy toes" .. waiting for the glorification of Christ, the removal of sin, the restoration of "Shalom" .. the better Eden. I looked down the beach and saw someone facing the sun, standing on his tippy toes, and noticed how even the birds all gather and face the sunrise. It is awesome to take the time to appreciate these things!
Every morning is different. And "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with Whom is no variation or shadow of turning.." James 1:17.
Have a wonderful day!! Blessings, Hailey
